Barcelona defeats Elche 3-1 and strengthens its lead in La Liga

Barcelona secured an important 3-1 victory over Elche at the Martínez Valero Stadium in Matchday 22 of La Liga.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 6th minute, before Álvaro Rodríguez equalized for Elche in the 29th minute. The Catalan side continued to press, and Ferran Torres added a second goal in the 40th minute, giving Barcelona a 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Barcelona sealed the win with a third goal from Marcus Rashford in the 72nd minute, making it 3-1.

With this victory, Barcelona increased its points tally to 55, maintaining its position at the top of the La Liga table, while Elche remains on 24 points in 12th place.
